Innovative showcases and an inviting lounge area as a marketplace that even included real trees: With an exhibition stand covering 400 m², Telefónica Deutschland presented at the 2017 CeBIT exhibition for the first time after a ten-year break. As an “OnLife Telco”, the company aims to offer its customers a digital and self-determined life according to their own wishes and habits. Digitalisation shouldn’t feel like a spaceship, it should feel like everyday life. This aspiration was also reflected in the exhibition stand. Adopting the motto #ShapeDigitalLife, the different departments of the company presented trade visitors with interesting topics, solutions and products for digital life – including hands-on exhibits for the visitors to try out for themselves. A total of 30 presentations delivered on the stand’s stage provided an opportunity to discuss the topics. The appearance and design of the stand in Hall 12 illustrated the symbiosis of real life and the digital world. Everything in a networked world is connected – that was the message conveyed by the design. This was symbolised by the recurring element of lines on the stand, as well as by the marketplace as the heart of the action.
